Tony’s Di Napoli one of New York City’s original family-style Italian restaurants, has become an iconic institution, cherished by locals and tourists alike for over three decades. Founded in 1990 by partners Herb of Wetson’s Hamburgers fame, and his son Greg Wetanson, Tony’s Di Napoli is a staple in both Times Square and the Upper East Side.Over the years, Tony’s Di Napoli has delighted countless guests with their authentic Italian red sauce recipes, warm hospitality, and the unmistakable flavors. Beginning on the Upper East Side in 1990 as a passion project between partners Herb Wetanson–of Wetson’s Hamburgers– and his son Greg Wetanson, Tony’s DiNapoli was loosely inspired by their family’s go-to Italian restaurant Don Peppe’s in Ozone Park, Queens.
